Favorite Band

Post by Rocketdork » Wed Nov 17, 2004 8:52 am

On the drive in this morning I was listening to the radio, and heard Eddie Grant singing 'Electric Avenue.' I was taken back to the days when I actually *liked* this song and played it a top volume...

That got me thinking about the music that I liked as I was growing up and am now deeply ashamed to admit too. My top three;

1. 'Safety Dance' Men Without Hats
2. 'All out of love' Air Supply
3. 'Electric Avenue' Eddie Grant

And it hasn't changed...I still like the songs, but they have been suplanted with new songs that I like, but am ashamed to admit too.

'Slim Shady' Eminem
'Lucky' Britney Spears
'Pieces of Me' Ashley Simpson

So what songs do you like that you don't readily admit to listening too?

"I Ran" - A Flock of Seagulls
"Mull of Kintyre" - Wings...wait, I'm not embarrassed about that one.
"Calypso" - John Denver
"That's the Way I Like it" - K.C. and the Sunshine Band

Men without hats, what an idiot. Thanks for the catch. Can't even blame it on being Monday.

I have that on vinyl. You know... those big black slow CD's.

I also have Flock of Seagulls "Listen" ep in picture disk (and Planet P Project "Pink World" on pink vinyl).
