Welcome aboard, bigbritboy!

I miss the land of much rain, having once spent ten very short days in Glasgow.

Welcome bigbritboy, what part of the old country are you from? I spent about a month in Coventry at the beginning of 2002...

btw, you really, really need an Avatar.

Welcome bigbritboy.
And yes, you'd better get an avatar up soon or Bio will make one for you. And you DON'T want that to happen. Course you have some time as he's currently comatose from 2 straight days of graveyard. He ought to be chipper tomorrow morning. We'll get you a rank when we can think of something inventive. Enjoy.

Greetings from the Pigster..

I lived about 20 years in East Anglia and remember British seasons like this:

1. Spring = Warm Rain

2. Summer = Hot Rain

3. Fall = Warm Rain / with cold wind.

4. Winter = Cold Rain / Cold Wind.

We who live in the Pacific Northwest have it made! Of course if you go west of the Cascade Mountains (example, Seattle), it's more like the UK there. Here in Eastern Washington State, we get what you say we get, and the best part is, it's rarely muggy!

I was actually raised in the Seattle area, so I am partial to the cooler weather.

Avatars:
Some people are of the theory that avatars are at the very core of what's wrong with the universe. That may be true, but on this forum, everyone is expected to have one. If you don't have one, one will be assigned to you. No bitching about your assigned avatar... even if it's beyond lame. If you don't like it, find one yourself.
It's good to be the king :-)
