On a lighter note:

We just put our cat in the bath tub after the kid was done.

I tried to wash our cat once...I have the scars to prove it...

I always thougt the best way would be to close the shower door, fill the tub with water and throw the cat over the top...wait for a bit, then open the door.

The cat would never speak to me again...but tnen my cats keep themselves pretty clean.

Silly kids, pussies are self-cleaning!

Of course, if yours smells more than others (or maybe if you live in a place with lots of skunks), there ARE little cages designed to bathe kitties in. Their just narrow enough for kitty to stand in, but not to turn around. Of course, now I can't find a picture of one anywhere, but I've seen them in my Mom's catalogs of grooming equipment.

Well there were a few reasons we gave her the bath. First was entertainment value and to see if we could do it. If she had totally freaked out we would have stopped but she tolerated it.
Secondly, she wasn't the best at cleaning herself to start with, she's gotten better recently.
Thirdly, while she started cleaning herself, giving her a bath helped with the dandruff and stuff that I'm allergic to. So it was to help me not sneeze and be totally miserable around her.

Besides, you gotta admit those pics are damn cute!!! :)
