205 mph on a U.S. highway. Riding a motorcycle. Frankly, a performance like that deserves a trophy, not a speeding ticket:

Sure I'll give him a trophy, how 'bout a Darwin Award? He's lucky he didn't kill himself. Sorry but going THAT fast on an open highway is just stupid.

Versus going that fast on a racetrack?

My question is, what was the traffic like? Other cars? Or was the road totally open, thereby only creating a hazard to -himself-?

Yes versus on a racetrack. While in my opinion going that fast on a motorcycle even on a racetrack is pretty dumb, at least is cuts down on other people getting hurt because of what he was doing.

There was a guy in Kansas City last month who was going 130 on a HIGH overpass. He couldn't make the slow curve of the road and ended up ramming the bike into the wall. He landed several hundred feet away from the bike.

I'm a puss, my bike hits 80 and I'm getting nervous. I don't usually go above 70. Maybe I just like living too much.
