I went, he saw, I left.

All is well in the back department. He said that the level of bone growth I have is about double what he normally sees (cuz I'm still kinda youngish). Everything is looking really good!

I still have to wear the brace during the day, but can take it off at night (yay... sleep!!). I'm also allowed to drive a car (after the meds are cut a bit more), go outside, and most importantly... I get to go back to work on Monday!!

Of course, I'll have some limitations (weight limit of 5 pounds for lifting, must be allowed to wear the brace, etc).

I have a follow up again in another 6 weeks, where I can pry take my brace and put it in storage (fingers crossed!).

Now I gotta find some clothes that I can wear to work. I've been wearing pajama bottoms for the past 6 weeks... those pry won't fly in the office. :-)

Great news!! And as sad as it is, you are probably pretty excited to come back to work. So you'll probably be outside all week then eh? :)
Well it'll be good to have you back.

Have you seen the temprature out there?!?

At this moment, it’s 92º f (33.3º c) out there. It’s 72º f (22.2º c) indoors.

I'm staying in my nice air conditoined house!!!

And yes... I'm totally excited to get out. I need to come and see your new house!

I'm feeling pretty good. Theres still some pain, but not enough to take meds for.

My biggest worry is that I get tired and usually take a nap durring the day. Can't do that at work. :-)
