Todays the day!
Let's all hope for the best for our friend Toné, they are sticking needles in his back today!

I went, they poked, I left, I hurt.
I don't wish that procedure on anyone. Bejesus... it hurt like you wouldn't believe!! It's been over 6 hours since they finished and I'm still sore... and it's getting worse.
I'll be lucky if I can walk tomorrow.
Regardless... it gave them the information they needed, and they know that the disc above and below are fine. I have my follow up with the full results on Monday. That's when they decide the next step.

Heh... no cats (at least not that I know of).
And yes... I have to wait till monday to get the official details.
You wouldn't believe how much this procedure hurts. After the last two years, I thought that I knew what pain was... I was mistaken. The doctor who performed the procedure said that 75% of patients feel nothing other than a little pressure. I, unfortunately, fell in the remaining 25%.
From what I understand, that means that it's the disc itself that's causing my back pain. That means that they'll most likely remove it when they do the fusion.
They say "that which does not kill me only makes me stronger". I'm here to tell you, you'd be amazed at what you can live through.
