Drugs are fun

Post by mmeowgrl » Fri Nov 14, 2003 4:06 pm

I had some minor surgery yesterday, and I have some vicodin for the pain. I paid $1.24 for 20 pills at wal-mart, which seemed really cheap to me. How much did yours cost bio?

I'm not sure.

Last time I was in I got 40 vicodin, 60 morphine, 40 tizanidine, and 30 Nortriptyline for $37.50

It's usually between $8 and $10 per bottle (I pay per bottle, not per count). It makes me grumpy though, because 30 vicodin and 120 vicodin cost me the exact same thing (and since I take 4 - 6 vicodin per day, it's a hassle to get refils every week).

That doesn't seem like a lot of money for all that, I wonder how much they charge the insurance company? I don't think I will have to use all the meds I got, I think in a day or so regular OTC stuff will be enough. That woozy feeling you get is pretty fun!

last weekend i offered to do experimental back surgery for Bio, i offered to use a second hand vacuum cleaner hose to attempt to recreate a flexible new spine for him. The only worry was his wife finding out that he had a spine, cos as you know, husbands aren't allowed a spine of their own!

It's all good and I'm out.

I have my injection on monday.

They take a needle and stick it into my spinal cord, then inject it with stuffs. The theory: it should make the pain go away for a short period (selective nerve block).

I'm just praying that I'll still have the ability to hold my poop in when they're done.

Geez, make up your mind. Either you want to poop or you don't want to poop, ya can't have it both ways. :)

Seriously, good luck on Monday. Let me know if you need anything k?
