We stood on our upper deck and watched two trees make popping noises before they blew massive branches onto the street (and cars) below.

Pretty exciting!

I guess now you really need that woodchipper!

I have a ton of branches in my yard to deal with, but they’re from me pruning the tree earlier this year. Thankfully i did, otherwise it’d be a big mess right now!

My mother-in-law was at the tire place this morning. It was an absolute madhouse! Most people didn't realize that because of the rhona, it's by online appointment only (Discount Tire), so they were turning people away. Fortunately, she made hers last Wednesday. The tires she had ordered hadn't arrived quite yet, so they upgraded her to the next one up for free (which was nice!).

Every year, people wait until the last possible moment to do this, and every year it's a madhouse at the first snow. Of course, every year people drive like they've never seen snow before as well.

I was thankful for the whole working at home thing. Did not want to be out on the roads.
On the plus side, my new (used) 2 stage snow blower worked like a champ on that heavy wet snow.
I was also glad I already blew out the sprinklers. Funny what we're grateful for when we get old.
