Update a go-go
The server received a massive update today thanks to Jester!
The entire OS was updated to the latest version, apache, php, mySQL, and several other apps were updated as well. We also revamped all the security settings and updated for any known security issues.
The house is safer than it's been at this point. Hopefully (for a while at least), it will be excedingly difficult to root.
For those of you whom I host, please take a moment to verify that everything in your domain still works properly.

I found one issue so far.
When posting to a thread that mmeowgrl had posted in, you'd get an error message saying "failed sending email".
I checked her profile, and she had "notify on reply" checked (causing the server to send her mail when someone posted in the thread).
I disabled it in her account profile and if I don't get the error message when I post this, all is good.
I'll look into why this happens and see if I cant fix it (if you want to be notified when a post is made).
Edit: Nope... still a problem. I'm going to check everyone's profile now.
Edit again: I made some changes to the forum settings, perhaps that will fix it.

Yeah I told ya MC Chris was the shit, I'm glad someone checked it out, in the history of all the people that i've introduced to MC Chris only one person didn't like him, and that person is a music snob.
And yeah, you're right I hadn't done MC Chris justice in my last post, but that's because I was pretty sure that I had already pimped him in another post but searching back through all my past posts revealed that I in fact did NOT! So I will again... for the first time.

More fun on the update front...
I've attempted to patch the forum to the latest version. Unfortunately, the drugs in my blood are making higher brain functions difficult at best.
The patch didn't go so well, and I may have to remove it and start over. I was able to back it up, so if I need to roll it all back, at least it won't be from scratch (but it will miss this post and any after if I need to restore the DB).
Wheeee!
