No problem!! (so long as your happy with T-mobile or live in Europe).

A 17 year old kid figured how to unlock it from AT&T's network.

Of course, it involves mucking about with the actual guts of the phone and modifying the software, but it is possible!

I'm sorry, but if you buy a phone, then modify it, how can they stop you? You own the phone, it's yours. It's not like you signed the typical software agreement (where you only purchased a license to use the software, you don't actually own it).

If you modify it yourself its legal. If you sell the modification technique its illegal.
