Give Me Money
Some of you love to give me crap about living in Kansas, and i understand. There's the evolution debate (which is really the work of handful of nut cases who hijacked the board of education), and Pastor Fred Phelps, who's been all over the country with signs like, "God Hates Fags" and "Thank God for 9/11". If ever you've been annoyed by him or Kansas, please allow me to introduce you to an opportunity to exact revenge on the tiny little minds that seem to give Kansas a bad name.
Specifically, I live in Lawrence, KS, which is sort of one of those liberal meccas that are scattered throughout the midwest (like Austin and Madison). Recently, during Pride week here, I've heard a lot of people talk about Lawrence as the Gay mecca of Kansas. This is mostly true, as its very common to same-sex couples walking hand in hand downtown without fear of reprisals.
As such, a lot of the burden of liberal causes gets carried by Lawrence. And specifically, that there is a fantastic, grassroots AIDS group here (Douglas County AIDS Project), means that people from all over the state move here to get treatment and access resources. That said, this group bares a statewide burden without statewide support.
So they're having a fund-raiser walk/run, and being as I recently started running with serious commitment, I decided to go ahead and plug in, and help raise some money. If you can donate, even a little, I would appreciate it. You can do so here.
Thanks for reading all of this.

Having been there before, and destined to be there again, I can honestly say I completely understand.Moxie wrote:If I wasn't living paycheck to paycheck, I would.Sorry guys, I'm poor.
As for Bio, that guy's top-notch. Quality. But he also sets the bar pretty high. If any of you wish to donate, even little amounts, well, its all good. If you can't, as an artist, you gotta know I understand.
M.
And Bio, clearly you have purchased a Give-Me-Shit-Free-Card today. So I shan't retort. Well played, Bio. Well played, indeed.

So I raised my goal once I hit the old one. Now I'll just be lucky (and grateful) to make the final $25 left to the second goal. Anyone besides Bio? I'm sooooo close to the goal.
Promised: If one of you comes up with the $25, I'll come up with a picture of my ass, too. You know you can donate anonymously right?
