this should inspire you all as it did me. PS3 can eat my dust while I'm playing halo 3 beta in HD and watching movies on my HD-DVD player (not blu-ray)!

I'd like to see the 360 help in killing blu-ray. As an 'only Tiger Woods on my old xbox' player, my interest in the new consoles is seeing one format win. I'm more in to home theater, and the industry is yet again punishing consumers in a format war. Yet again.
Porn isn't supporting blu-ray, why should we??

I have to say, I'm pretty impressed with the 360 interface and it's Dashboard. I'm eventually going to get the wireless WAN adapter for it so I don't have to run my 100' ethernet cable upstairs
I'm also going to see about connecting it to our laptop so I can transfer music and such to it. I don't know much about the blu-ray stuff other than it's another format. Much like the Beta/VHS wars of long ago. I can't see blu-ray winning out, but I've been WAY wrong before. I may eventually get the HD-DVD drive to connect to the 360 as well. Guess it depends on how it all pans out. If one format will "win" out or if they'll just keep both around. Again, don't know the pros-cons of either format.

Check out this adapter. I think I got it for less than $30 shipped. I bought it for my nephew, and it worked great. The xbox branded wireless are pretty expensive.eddiecanuck wrote:I'm eventually going to get the wireless WAN adapter for it so I don't have to run my 100' ethernet cable upstairs![]()
