I often point with passion at the numerous reasons why I am not a Christian or a follower of any established religion. However, today, I thought I'd post a link that makes the case for why I'm not an atheist.

You've seen most, if not all, of these. But on election day, it seemed a good idea to remember how small and insignificant we really are. Maybe if we were reminded that the universe is a big, mysterious place a little more often, perhaps we might try a little harder to get along.

I love those kind of pictures. I've often wondered how much our perception of the universe would change if we had something like the Hubble positioned in between galaxies so there is extremely little interference. When you think about how much work they have to do to filter out all the noise and that most of our observations are from a little spec of dust in the middle of a solar system which itself is in the middle of a galaxy.... just makes you wonder.
