My eldest sone came to me with a request to do his hair. I said yes and we did it yesterday.
My son is a freak.

I love it! My mother, not so much. It is quite annoying to her. I brought up the idea of doing my hair like that and I was lucky to make it out of the house.

Heh... it's just hair... and will replace itself with the normal blackish color on it's own. It's not like the kid wanted a tattoo or anything (which is slightly more permanent).
As for the piercing... he's not into them. Both my ears are done (and yes... I wear hoops in each ear... even at my tender age of almost 40). I've offered to take him down if he was interested... he's not.

He's his own person, that's commendable. That color is great too.
I did my hair blue like that when I was 15. Thankfully my parents were cool too. My mother did it for me actually, she reasoned that if she had said no I might have done it anyway and messed it up or something.

What year is this? 13 years ago I had lime green dreadlocks. This is soooo not a big deal. Kudos to him for striking out on his own.

Must be the weekend for it. Both my kids went "blue/black" yesterday.
Son went from Blond to the blue/black.
Daughter was just fixing the blue/black from some time ago...
I'm the only one in the house with my natural color, that being brown/grey, rapidly approaching grey/brown.
Daughter will be 18 in less than a month, Birthday present is a nice tattoo...because the law won't allow for a tattoo for the 17th birthday. Before everybody freaks out, she's had the same plan for a tattoo, design and all, since she was 15...I figure if she's that committed to the design and idea, that she should have it.

I'll be heading into the shop to get my
5th tattooat the end of this month - I'm super excited about it.
As for the piercings, I love all 5 of mine (yes, that does include one in each ear). I don't wear earrings much, but the other jewelry never comes out.
A friend of mine is looking to get a Vega style tattoo (from Street Fighter) where the snake wraps around his stomach and comes up over the shoulder. I seriously cannot begin to tell you how hot that will be

I'm not much into the whole tattoo thing, but I can appreciate a good one on someone else. I just never found anything that I wanted on my body permanently (with the exception of my social security number done in bar code... and my wife said "um.. HELL NO!!")
I also stopped with the ears when it came to getting piercings. I had 7 (5 in the left, two in the right), but only 5 are still usable (4 in the left, one in the right).

I have 2 in one of my ears (brought on by bad Bio influence in my teen years) and 3 tattoo's. 1 on my calf and 2 on my back/shoulder. I thought at one time I would get my whole back done but I out grew it.

Maybe you might want to consider a nice new pink color Rocketdork, unless you think it would look raytarded.
I got my left ear pierced in the first grade. It was interesting to see how it became more acceptable as I got older and more people got them. Don't have a tatoo but I'm considering one of bass strings wound up and wrapped around each of my arms. Know any good artists anyone?
