Apparently, my new hosting service, Dreamhost, is choking on all it's new users. My ping today is beyond horrible (and the sites are hit and miss for connecting to).

64 bytes from 208.97.128.213: icmp_seq=6 ttl=53 time=1253 ms
64 bytes from 208.97.128.213: icmp_seq=7 ttl=53 time=491 ms
64 bytes from 208.97.128.213: icmp_seq=8 ttl=53 time=790 ms
64 bytes from 208.97.128.213: icmp_seq=9 ttl=53 time=1066 ms
So... out of the 8 pings listed there, I get an avarage 1338 ms reply. This doesn't, of course, include all the timeouts I was getting a few minutes ago.
I'm hopeful that they are able to correct the issue, but with the current special they're running, the amount of data being added to their servers has grown 300% (an additional 200GB per day, or 1 TB every 5 days).
