Hide your valuables, lock your refrigerator!

Post by ironpants » Fri Feb 10, 2006 10:03 pm

I just got clearance to telecommute from Spokane! Small town cost of living w/ Seattle wages!

Anybody know a good real estate agent?

I'll be back for two days every two weeks. I can't stay away from free beer friday for long.

I'll probably see you more when I'm 272 miles away than I do now.

BTW (everyone who's not flap) I'm crashing at her house when I'm in town.

I'm a damned lucky man!

Actually... I had a good one when I purchased Casa de Bio.

I can get you her name if needed.

It's a pitty I hear about this now. We were just in the market for a DBA at my company. We wanted one familiar with Oracle but with a primary focus on MS SQL.

I think they hired somene from China (for those who aren't in the know... english speaking DBA's are few and far between).

Whoa, seriously?

And would the Lazy-I have paid Seattle wages?

Yeah, on that scale, you should be able to pay your house off in half the time and still set up a good college fund for your kid.

I think we're ok on the realtor front. I'll be available for limited database consulting when I get there (will work for beer)

BTW, you are probably better off with a Chinese DBA than an American. In China, they still teach computer science.

I'm driving back to Issaquah right now. Found a house, closing is scheduled for March 17th. Sorry for nor meeting up with anyone this weekend, it was a bit busy :)

BTW, we're looking for help unloading the truck. Pay is good, but all transactions will be paid in beer!
