Carl and Luke and I saw Serenity tonight. Well, Luke saw about 1/3 of it - it was late - he passed out.

Wow what a good intelligent movie. I don't understand why one of the death's took place but even with that it was fantastic.

Even if you've not seen Firefly - I highly recommend this movie!

I like the series Firefly (for those who haven't seen it, think "western in space"). The plan is to go see it tomorrow for my birthday.

I prefer the series to the movie but the movie was very good. As for deaths, well Joss just does that. Expect the unexpected with anything that he does. I also think that at that point they knew it wasn't getting picked up for a second season so why bother letting everyone live?
