I'm a little pissed off at the moment.
I come in tonight to find an email from Friday asking that I change my schedule (coming in later and staying later). Nice of them to fucking call me, since they knew I wouldn't see that email till I came in.
Of course, the whole coming in later means that not only won't I see my family this week, I'll probobly wake them all up when I leave for work (since it will be in the middle of the night now).
Oh... and each person needs to do 4 weeks of the graveyard shift this year (to give us coverage till the end of Q4), but they've decided that someone else will do next week... so I'll still have one more week to pull later in the year (probobly at Christmas, since I'm low man on the totem pole).
Time to polish that resume and look at other departments. I've about had it with this one.

I would kill for that.
I spoke to my boss when she finally rolled in. I do get to finish the 4 weeks of graveyard, but got my ass reamed for an hour.
I'll be updating my resume when I wake up tonight.
Oh... and my new shift is 2 am till 10 am (won't that go over fabulously with the wife when the alarm goes off at midnight... and she has to work the next day?). I'll still be showing up at 11... my wife has a job too and I don't want to wake her up in the middle of the night.
