From the day I took that job to nearly every decision I made during my tenure there, virtually everything I did was about daring them to fire me. Like the day we had the sports-jersey day and I showed up wearing a ref shirt. I loved that shit.

Good thing all of my performance appraisals were glowing (Chris, no doubt, just being generous).

Well... the cube has been raised, but I don't have the damn chair.

So... I've been standing all friggin' day so far.

They promise me the chair has been ordered, but until it comes in I'll just have to tough it out.

My thoughts: don't raise the desk until the friggin' chair comes in, dumbasses!

But hey... no one ever asked for my opinion (or listens to it).

OK, I'll bite, what is significant about 02F8? The hex to decimal conversion is 760...did I miss the point?

I don't know, I think I was more the Anti-HR. Then as now, I liked Christ. Just not some of his more... shall we say... ceffienated followers.
I know that wasn't a dig at the coffee cam

Ahhhh... the coffee cam. One of the best things ever at SSI.

We would watch and count how many people would wipe their hands on thier pants after exiting the rest room, how many people were still zipping up their pants, who went in and immediately came back out (because they needed to take a crap but there was someone in the bathroom), etc.

Good times! :-)

As for myself... if I feel the need to void my bowels, and there's someone in there... god have mercy on them, because I'm going. I don't have time to mess around with things like that.

hehe... well, that is kinda true I guess.

I go when I need to go, do what I need to do, and get back out into the real world quickly.

I'm blessed.
