And that's about the only one I can think of (other than the fact it's a fairly hip town).
Those of us who don't live there get other benefits: cheap housing, light traffic (even at rush hour), etc.

I said I'd get the web server up a week ago, but it took this long to install all of the patches
That said, the first pic of Tristan (from mom's cell phone) I'll post more later.

I would be scared shitless. I'm sure to a certain extent you have been. Now that you've got him, has the (supposed) fear abated? I'm very curious about this.... fatherhood idea.

yeah, I'm sure it's a lot different than my situation where we just "ended up" with a 3 1/2 yr old kid. Babies are a lot more fragile. The fatherhood thing grows on you pretty quick though. I never thought I'd want kids, but now that we have her it's pretty cool... most of the time anyway, minus last night (but that's a whole other post in the making)
Congrats on the new addition, that's great.

I'm into kids. But not into kids, if you know what I mean. I particularly like the way they might make me look more mature by comparison. And almost validate my regular trips to the Star Wars section of the local toy departments.
I think I'd like to have one someday. The girlfriend said something about "at least three" last we spoke on the subject. That worried me a little. But I guess once you get one going, they're pretty easy add-ons, each additional one.
Like I said I'm curious.
But, if not sacred shitless, I'm scared a little poopless.

Speaking as a father, you get used to the idea very quickly.
It's scary as hell until you have one... then you wonder how your life was ever good before. Kids are great... then they learn to speak and it all goes straight to hell.
