I was woken up at 4am this morning to my brother running in and telling me the neighbor's house was on fire. They went in and pulled my neighbor out because he was asleep and to drunk to wake up. 6 firetrucks and 2 emergency vehicles arrived. The neighborhood was lit up like day. Apparently the fire started in his attic, when the attic fan shorted out and caught all that paper insulation on fire. It was just the stuff you throw down. Now I am wondering if we may have the same problem in the future.

Man, all kinds of fires over there lately - saw two other burnt buildings when I was up there on Saturday.

Hope there isn't some sort of Arson thang going around....

The fire marshall just came and told us it was not the fan. It was arseny. And I have a sickening feeling that my brother may be going to Prison. Idiots...why do I have idiots for brothers. I got a lucky streak I guess.
