Guilty or not?

Post by Rocketdork » Mon Jun 13, 2005 12:57 pm

I guess the Jury in the Mikey Jackson case is done with deliberations. Mikey now has 1 hour to get to the court house.

CBS has the story

now everybody can move on with life...sheesh, its not like this isn't happening all over the country right now. Tell me again, why is this news?

I will bodly make a prediction: It's not over with the media.

They will milk this cow for all it's worth... and there will be appeals, possibly sentencing hearings, etc.

It's not dead yet... not by a long way.

Remeber that funny dressed kid in school?

Remember how all the "cool" kids would pick on him.

Same thing. It's fun to beat up on the weirdos.

Feh.

Well, as one of the weirdos in class, I have to remark that Jackson brought this on himself. People are surprised at the verdict because it is plausible. Is he weird? Yes. Is that what makes him suspiscious? No. That's in the domain of his unusual relationships with young boys. Being weird isn't illegal.*

*Except in snooty neighborhoods where houses are all the colors of khaki.

I'm in agreement with encap and miftah on this one.

I'm also an opportunist who thinks I could cash in big with this:

Is that a guy or a girl? If it is a girl she could get sued for slander

I went for the subtle approach.

Subtle wins.
