For some reason, I really want the photos. This is priceless.

In the market for a wedding band?

Heh, my buddy sold his wedding ring when he got divorced to a pawn shop. They would only give him $10 for it, so he took it and we ordered a pizza. :)

That's far better than the band my wife has.

I had a beautiful ring from a previous engagement (3/4 carrot marquee cut surrounded by blue diamonds), but my wife wasn't much interested in it (and I can't say I blame her).

So, I put it on consignment with a local jewelry store. It sat there for about 9 months with no hits. Finally, I asked if we could just trade it for other rings and they agreed.

Being young and stupid, I traded for about $300 in new jewelry.

Of course, the ring we got for my wife started falling apart shortly after getting it. She lost a diamond about 2 months later and the band snapped about a month after that.

She wears a plain gold band now (has for the past 14 years). We keep talking about upgrading to something better. Cinco de Mayo marks our 15th anniversary. Now may be a good time to do it.
