I can't feel my face!!!!

Post by eddiecanuck » Mon Apr 18, 2005 4:15 pm

Just got back from the dentist... my entire lower jaw is rubber.

A meaningless post I know, but just felt like sharing.
Was supposed to get a wisdom tooth out but the doc decided to wait and do it another time. Joy.

Couldn't they have decided that before drugging you??? Sheesh!

Sorry, wasn't clear I guess. I had a bunch of other work done, since that took longer than he though, he didn't want me sitting there any longer so he decided to do another visit. Which is fine as I have really good benefits so there's no out of pocket expence for me. Just time and discomfort. :)

It's still not as bad as the time the assistant froze the WRONG SIDE of my face. Got the needle in before I could say anything. Heh.

Is your wisdom tooth being surgically removed (is the tooth above the skin?)?

No straight pull, shouldn't be a problem. I can feel my face again, but now it hurt. Better go for the Aleeve.

I am glad that the only oral work I have to get done is cleaning...other than that...no braces...and nothing with wisdom teeth...although the feeling on the left side of my tongue is still a little numb.
