Troubles with the Digital Camera

Post by Painted » Sat Apr 16, 2005 11:43 pm

A couple weeks ago my camera stopped being recognized by my computer. This has been a real problem since I can't download (or is it upload?) my pictures from my camera to my computer. What could be causing my problem?

When mine did this it was the cable or the port on the camera. I bought one of those multi-card readers and all is good.

Well I don't think it is the cable because I went up to Bio's house and used his son's computer fine.

Probably needs the drivers re-installed. Plug in the camera, and see if it shows up in the Device Manager. Then uninstall it from there, unplug it, and plug it back in again to let it find the drivers again. It might work, it might not.

I've had this happen on many occassions. I just take the silly card out of the camera now and use a external drive for the card.

Nope didn't work. I think that I will just have to try and use the second computer when I have access to it.
