Pope John Paul
I am not Religious or Catholic, but I did find John Paul's struggle here in the last weeks sad. I thought he was a good leader and man that showed real true compassion for mankind.
Lets hope the next one will be half the man John Paul was.

The Pope was very much into politics. He lobbied world leaders for change, improvements in relations etc. He was a hardliner though when it came to things like allowing women to be ordained into the ministry, abortion, and homosexuality.mudflap wrote:Tis a shame. I too, am not a religious person but the Pope was a kind, compassionate man and the entire world will feel the loss.
In some ways he was very modern... in others it was still the 15 century.
