Boy Scout director charged with having child porn

DALLAS, Texas - The national director of programs for the Boy Scouts of America has been charged with receiving and distributing child pornography, the U.S. Attorney's office here told NBC News on Tuesday.

I guess all the jokes weren't that far from true.

Totally.

There have been stories in the past of Scout Masters abusing children, but this is right at the top of the organization.

It's like finding out that the Pope has a thing for alter boys.

The Boy Scouts of America did the right thing in releasing him when they found out. They're a good organization who have had problems with it's members in the past. I hope this doesn't cripple them.

Being gay doesn't make you a pedophile or a sexual deviant any more than being straight does. There's no logical reason to exclude anyone from joining a group based on your sexual orientation.

I'm straight... but that doesn't mean I can't have contact with young girls. So long as your relationship with children is appropriate, there shouldn't be an issue.

But we live in a country where the very notion of sex is taboo. It's an evil dirty thing by societies standards. If we could become a little more "european" in how we view sex, perhaps we woudn't have all the hang-ups on the subject that we, as a culture, do.

Actually.... my back is a big hairy bitch today. I'm starting to believe I shoudln't have returned to work so soon after my surgery. I'm currently full of narcotics, very fuzzy, and turned on the heat and massage on my chair (they spoil me at work).
