...is dying.

He wrote an incredibly moving entry about Felix on his website today.

You know what Canofcoke... :bash: It may not be sad to you because it's not your cat or you don't own a cat, but for me it is sad. Because my cat looks a lot like what they described. Also I found my cat while walking home from Mike's one day. It was raining and he was also being attacked by the same damn dog that chased me up the hill and bit at my ankles. Well I was carrying my violin home, so I did what I started to do when the dog really pissed me off.....I smacked him with the case of my violin. I picked the cat up and took him home with me. I cleaned him up and even tried to go to the houses around where I found him. I put up posters about a found kitty, but aparently nobody loved him. So my mom broke under and said we could keep him. I was a MOMMY! We named him Sylvester, after the cartoon, but we call him Sly or Sly Baby Cry Baby. Now if my cat were put in that situation I would be bawling my head off. Also I feel sorry for the cat owners and the cat itself. My dog also has a disease, he gets these lumps. But this is all due to one dumb ass brother sticking the dog in the microwave (Even after seeing Grimlens he was this stupid). The scenario is a sad one though.

A cat is a cat. It is not a human or anything of worth. This is why they are everywhere! They claw at you, meow annoyingly and piss everywhere. Now dogs on the other hand. They help with population control, are mans best friend, and know how to take it outdoors.

For your information cats are of worth. I talk to my cat all the time. I know he has no clue as to what I am saying, but it helps to let it out. And my cat does not pee everywhere...especially not in our house. Humans are also everywhere. How do dogs help population control? Also dogs pee in the house, it is a matter of getting a house trained pet or not. Cats are not sell outs and walk up to anything that comes in the door, ok most cats don't do that. Dogs bark annoyingly. Dogs jump on you, hump your leg. Anything you can name bad about a cat can be turned around the same with a dog. I think that almost any living organism has it's worth. And cats do more population control because they eat birds and mice. So plllll!

This could be why you still haven't kissed a girl. To get into a good relationship you need feelings.

lol, ouch! I dont need a girl that crys because of a dead cat. Its one thing if it's hers, but reading a 3 minute story shouldnt make you get emotional what so ever.

Yup! You are emotionally empty. I put things into a realistic scenario, my cat could have had what he had. I have seen cats that I raised die from it. You do all you can, but in the end it doesn't work. I also have a soft spot for animals. I am not over emotional it was just tear jerking. Also I cry in sad books, because I get into them. I have and imagination.

When you read a story, you need to take the time to put yourself into that person's thoughts. I am not very found of cats myself, but I had a dog that died recently. It is very easy to feel for someone who loses a loved one.

One of the best qualities anyone can possess is COMPASSION

I feel sad knowing that people suffer everyday, not that it makes me cry. My body is numb to the fact. Like that cat my Aunt Katie (actually a cousin) was suffer from liver failure. It was not due to drinking, it was a disease that is rare and hereditory. It is called wilsons disease. She would have been fine if the state didn't take her off of her anti-rejection pills. She had 2 liver transplants. The first one failed and the second one lasted seven years, and would have lasted longer if the medicine was not taken. Seeing somebody in pain like that's makes you cry. And when the last words you here them say are, "I just want to live." You wouldn't hold it in. Now just put it in mind like this, a cat can't talk, but when something loses it's will to live, you don't want to let it suffer, but in turn, you'll have to suffer a little bit too.
