The search for a traing bike was over last sunday. Sorry it took so long to post, have been very busy at work.
RocketDork decided to sell the Disposalbike that he bought from Bio. I will use this bike to train me this year and hopefully save a mint on gas getting to work. The plan is next year to get a bigger bike for me and Lady J will get this one for herself. I guess this makes this the official BRHF bike. Thanks once again to RocketDork, and may that new bigger bike be seen in your garage very soon.

It looks like you cleaned it up some...
looks good in your garage.
I'll have another one soon, but there are some other things that may show up first...I am thinking really hard on getting a tent trailer, so that may push the purchase into next year.

I just called them and for the $100 it sounds like the way to go.
They've got a ton of different class options and I think I might get in on one. Finally.
With gas prices going crazy like they are I'll be in the market for a bike myself....and soon.
On a side note: caught myself drooling over this:

Yeah, I've read some bad things about Buells but I really like the design much better than some of the other sport bikes.
I stopped by the Harley dealership on Trent...the bike looked pretty small in person.
Anyhow, I'm not settled on anything, still looking around and still trying to convince Joanna to let me get one.

Go fer the Beul! There's a few things you learn from working for a .com, most of those lessons are not worth repeating but, there are many young men here with inflated incomes and defalted costs of living. If you can imagine the bike, it's parked in my parking lot every day (and they let me play with them for favors). The Beul has character and grunt. It's a heck of a lot more fun in traffic ('cause it's got low end torque) and looks better at a stoplight than a rice rocket.
BTW, I'm working out the design parameters of the next car, we'll talk about track time when it's done!

I personally don't like the look of the Buell. I am also prejudice against anything Harley.
Its funny that Harley is screaming about other companies copying their styling to sell bikes, but then they partner with Buell to do something like this. The VRod styling is pretty cool, but it still looks like a cruiser and crotch rocket had a bastard child...
I say we do it for real! Lets get a crotch rocket and chop it! Imagine, you have a high strung engine in a streched bike with full fairings! It would be fun, and truly the ugliest bike ever created.
