Happy St. Patrick's Day
For the first time in the 7 + yrs Zipper and I have been together, I acutally cooked the Corned Beef, well put in the crock pot at 5:20AM this morning.
He will be happy, me I'm not sure, but like every year I'll eat it.
Happy St. Patty's Day.

You haven't had mine - mine is still pickling as we speak - I make mine from scratch, with no nitrates.Moxie wrote:Corned beef & cabbage smells like sweat
It's Very yum! I usually make mine out of a chuck roast vs a brisket - A full brisket has a boatload of fat.
This year I used a brisket - no good chuck roast sales. This Sunday we'll find out how it went.
