Dear God... I'm friggin' old

Post by bio » Wed Mar 16, 2005 3:31 pm

My eldest son turns 16 next week.

I've already purchsed his presents:
AMD XP 3200+ (400mHz FSB, Barton Core)
ASUS A7V600-X motherboard
1 GB (2x 512) Corsair PC-3200 (DDR400) RAM

His brother is getting him Halflife 2 via Steam (because it comes with a ton of extras that way).

Eddie: if you're wondering what to get him... can I suggest this:
Samsung 80GB 7200 EIDE HD: $55 + $3.99 s/h

He'd also like a new optical mouse like the MS Explorer Mouse 4.0 (with the forward and back buttons and tilt wheel).

Spoiled... my kid? Hell yeah! :-)

Aren't most kids, I know mine are. My youngest daughter who will be 8 is a getting $80.00 NASCAR coat for her b-day next week (her choice the M&M car).

If we can't spoil them, then who will :P

Hey, today is my birthday! Where's my half life 2????

Seriously, it is my birthday today - I just went to the DMV to get my license renewed - ugly picture; I am not aging well.

Besides, I got enough money to upgrade my computer.
