It's a date!

Post by bio » Fri Feb 04, 2005 6:43 pm

I saw my neurosurgeon today and have a scheduled date for my surgery.

March 9th.

He is letting me keep the hardware that he removes (a nifty souvineer, and the screws cost $1,200 each).

Hopefully we don't have a repeat of last time (almost dying isn't what it's cracked up to be).

OK well now that I read this the other post is useless. Hehe. That's cool that you get to keep your hardware. I got to keep my braces. Your surgery is on Logan's b-day. LOL. And darn it sounds like you'll be out for Steak and BJ day. Hehe. JK.

Hope it is much less traumatic for you this time Bio. You'll be missed while you're off your feet :(

According to the doc, this one isn't so bad. It's only 2 weeks till I can return to work (which means that after 1 week I'll be ready... but don't tell my boss that! :-))

What is the opening bid? Can you tell me the size of these screws and if they will work for building my deck?

Opening bid: .99

Buy it now: $2.5 Million

I do hold some celebrity status after all :-)

Hey, you get to wear the body brace again? If so, you should get it painted, mabye skin color with nipples :)

That'll ensure you have enough time off work to recover.

Sadly, I will be unable to wear the brace for this one.

While I wish I could... it cost around $3,000, It no longer fits me. I've been pumping iron and it would take some reshaping to make it fit over my manly pecs and rock hard abdominals.

Should it disturb me that you you "found" that pic and posted it only 8 minutes after my post? :?

Might want to flush your cache soon.
