same place....contract got extended for two whole weeks...

come next monday though, i'll be unemployed and freaking out.

I did find a position here as a User Assistance Lead - basically I'd be managing content for Office for Mac applications, Virtual PC for Mac, Messenger for Mac, and stuff like that.

"You’ll work with a creative and dedicated team of writers and editors to ensure our content’s consistency, completeness, and accuracy, and be responsible for taking initiative and building relationships with program management, test, development, marketing, and other teams within MacBU. You’ll have the opportunity to act as a user advocate with product team by bringing data and feedback from customers to the table. You should be comfortable with the challenge of meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced, fluid environment, and enjoy handling multiple assignments and projects simultaneously."

My current manager (bless her heart) referred me for the position and I know she's doing all she can to make it happen. I'd really love to stay on her team because she's a fantastic manager, but there is nothing available.

Good luck finding work!
