Mary Jane is legal in Washington?

Post by Rocketdork » Mon Nov 29, 2004 2:13 pm

This story says it is (a bunch of othere states too)...for medical use...I didn't know that!

Of course the federal government says is isn't and they can arrest and prosecute you...so I'll stay away.

Don't really understand the ban on MJ anyway.

For me it is a state's rights issue. What's next? Feds telling Washington state that they can NOT issue CWPs (Con Weapons Permits)? Not that big of a stretch really.

Ye gads.... they sell EVERYTHING at Target!

And yes... it's available for medical use in Washington State... IF you can find a Doctor who'll prescribe it. It appears that there's an issue of being prosecuted the Feds that has kept most physicians from going anywhere near it.

Of course, since my dear mum is a medical user (certified in the state of California where they apparently don't fear the feds), so I know more about this than I should.

It's legal to have up to 4 ounces for personal use up here, medical or not. It's just not legal to sell it...

Um... you can have it, you just can't buy it.

Are you allowed to grow it then? If not... um... I'm confused.
