Stalker or fan... you make the call

Post by bio » Mon Nov 03, 2003 5:22 pm

I was going through the server logs today and found a hit from unrealdesktops.com, so I go and check it out.

Sure enough, there's a link to wwbd (which is very cool). After poking around a bit, I find a "pictures" page with two of my images on it (which can be cool or very irritating, I've not decided yet). This gets me looking into things.

I do a whois on the domain and find that this person lives in Spokane just a little north of where I work (I work at "A", he lives at "B"). I don't recognize any of the faces in his "pictures" section, but that doesn't mean much (I have a horrible memory).

So if I do know him... was it from someplace I worked? college? a lan party? that indiscretion I had at a rest stop when I was really, REALLY drunk? Or... did he find me via google or some other such nonsense.

Perhaps he's an axe murderer who's moved close to me so that he can kill me... live... on my own webcam!

*shudder*

Anyway... I joined his forum and flipped him shit. I guess I'll find out soon enough.

That's probobly the case. That or I worked with him at SSI when I used to do tech support (there were about 800 people there... it's hard to remember them all).

Update: I checked his forum... I went to college with him.
