second verse, same as the first

Post by Rocketdork » Thu Sep 18, 2003 10:53 am

Day three of my little saga. Fucking stone is still there...feels like a boulder. It comes and goes for the pain, when it decides to move, it doubles me over and I reach that level of pain where I am afraid I might live, rather than I am afraid I might die.

Doctor says it'll just have to work its way out. Anybody got a pocket knife, I'll cut the stone out myself.

A lot of it can be linked to not drinking enough water, and I think is it salt (maybe?) has a role in it.

Just drink shitloads of water from now on. Cranberry juice also.

you know what's odd? for like oh i don't know 6 years i get this like stabbing paint in my abdomen, it feels like it's a kife stabbing me from the front to the back, like about 4-5 inches above where my leg meets my torso (ie the front of where the kidney is). it's on the same side every time and it comes and goes.

i always thought it was like cramps or something, i dunno. i've got a real high tolerance for pain so i always ignored it. maybe i have a stone too, but then it should have shot out by now.
