Well, not really, but the story is pretty cool. I am hoping to catch this on the discovery channel sometime in the future...

But I do have to say that I think the guy is a bit nuts...

UPDATE on "Killer Squid"

Post by bugfreezer » Thu Aug 11, 2005 7:35 am

Evidently that entry was a bit older than we thought. The episode re-airs on the Discovery Channel on August 20th at 9AM & 6PM (they say ET & PT).

I am so-o-o watching/recording it!

Just so you know.

In the meantime, enjoy this.

Sure... that's the day we have tickets for Silverwood.

The part that really amused me was how surprised the aquarium staff were that a Pacific Octopus could take out a small shark.

They don't know them very well, do they?

Actually, if anyone wanted and is set up to do a video-cap/avi situation, we could torrent it out to everyone and burn DVDs while we're at it.

I have DVR...but I would have no idea on how to get that to a DVD. And I have Satelite...so will it play at the same time or do as satelite does and play 3 hours early?

That depends on whether your provider gives you only the east coast feed, like we had when we used to have Dish Network...you should double-check. Another way is to follow this link and compare the schedule to what is actually on your Sat feed.

Note to self - I want an ATI All in Wonder vidcard or an add-on tv tuner card with PVR software. I don't have a vidcap solution presently.
