Our problem is this: the military is a lifestyle these morons chose. No pay. No rewards. Die for the country you love! (What idiot dies for a country?) It's what they chose. Forsake our Troops! They think that if they go to war, they don't need to pay taxes just......just like the rest of us. Let 'em die in combat-- we don't need their ilk!

I don't think it was the politics that pissed some people off, but the bashing of others beliefs and ideas. We can bash the shit all we want out of this guy because it is obvious that he is a pure and simple ASSHOLE.

Asshole, yes.

Nonetheless, whatever the reasoning behind the changes, we agreed to put aside some topics in the interest of maintaining civility. I'm playing my part by not bringing up my point of view on such topics. I'm just asking everyone play fair.

Believe me, there are truckloads of subjects that I have let evaporate over the last couple of weeks because I know they are hot topics. And I don't mean to offend, but my opinions are sort of naturally offensive the rightward slant of this board.

I'm abiding by the rules. I'm just asking that others are careful to as well.

I'm with miftah on this one, feel free to shake it up on shitdanish if you want. While most, if not all of us would agree on points of this, we have a diverse enough group that something will get said that heats it up. Again, feel free to use shitdanish to discuss this at length. After all, it is unmoderated.
