There were NATURAL nuclear fission reactors in the past history of the earth.

The thing that amazes me it that they are natural and have an energy density that is a couple of orders of magnetude lower than current man made reactors.

I don't think I would have ever guessed that this was possible.

Facinating read. I skimmed it mostly, but it was cool. Kinda makes you wonder if were the first intelligent beings on this planet, or if God played with different ideas long long ago.

Hmmmm, is there a Star Wars connection in here somewhere?

I do know that, but its fun finding the esoteric. I like to be surprised.

This one was both surprising and educational...although I didn't follow some of it.
