The guy that lives in the other half of the duplex I own works with my other half...he told her this story the other night at work.
The girlfriend of guy next door has two kids. A 16-17 year old boy and a 10-12 year old daughter. Boy's girlfriend is over a the house visiting, they are upstairs, mom and step-dad are downstairs. Boy and girlfriend are doing what ever they are doing upstairs when boy shouts down the stairs to mom and step-dad, "My girlfriend and I are going to take a shower together, OK?" Of course, step-dad thinks boy is messing with his head and responds with "Sure, go ahead!"
Some time passes and the SHOWER starts running...step-dad runs upstairs to check what the deal is...you guessed it, boy and girlfriend are in the shower. I have no reports on the activity in the shower, but it doesn't take a rocket surgeon to figure it out. They roust them out of the shower, and the conversation that follows, just adds to the hilarity of the situation.
It seems that Boy, Girlfriend and little sister were all going to the movies in a bit. Girlfriends mother is coming to pick them up and deliver them to the show. Step-dad asks "how is Girlfriends mother going to respond when little sister comments on this in the car?" Boy responds..."well, girlfriends mother lets us shower together all the time!"
I was rolling. I mean how do you punish the kid, he ask permission...you said OK. Not sure how I would react if this happened in my home.
I have to hand it to the kid, he has big brass balls that clack together when he walks! I would have lost body parts if I had even joked with my parents about something like this!
