Fake as in you can't see through them, not that they aren't something you can buy in Japan...

In a society where conformity is almost a requirement for life, its the little ways that you can act out that make you an individual. We find this shocking, they don't, not really. Get a tatoo, you'll shock the hell out of them.

or you can get lost in the crowd.

Fake as in both. There are no see through skirts nor are there skirts that are made to LOOK like they're see through. All the images are clever photoshop jobbies. All the angles match up too perfectly there's no way to print something that would match the shape and width of your leg exactly unless it was actually a picture of your own ass and even so it wouldn't ever exactly match the angle right from any direction.

here's the snopes link from 2003

After the initial shock wore off, the American society might get used to it, however society might see it as sexual harAssment, and bring any female wearing something like that up on charges. And God forbid we be political incorrect

I myself would never wear something like that. I have a hard enough time wearing shorts.

Actually, these are done with a highly secret military kb-ray photographic process. Those are the "tame" test shots. The iris of the imaging device can be adjusted for a wider range of exposure, and is currently in experimental stages of testing with the TSA.

It's a fact! 8)
