Being a Nascar fan, I naturally watched the race today...the final race of the season. The championship points chase was closer than it has ever been.

The race could go to any of the drivers, and the championship was close enough that any of three drivers could have had it, they only had to be seperated by a few positions on the track.

The race finishes, the wrong guy won the championship, and the race went longer than it should have, lots of cautions.

The cars hadn't even left the track and COMCAST cuts to a fucking Gonzaga basket ball game that hasn't even started. No post race interviews, no post race coverage. Its only the biggest race of the year, sheesh.

Why on earth would they think I wanted to watch a bunch of local reporters talk about some kids on a basketball court?

I can't believe it.

For you guys that don't understand, its like the time ran out on the superbowl, or the final out at the world series, and the cut away for a local college game that hadn't even started yet. :twak:

Eurosport ... a satellite sports channel in Europe used to perform even worse crimes agains humanity than the Nascar stunt. They cut the 2002 Assen World Superbikes race, the one that was to decide if Foggy ( British race ace) was to win his 6th consequetive World Championship. They decided to stop showing the race half way thru in favour of the first round of sommy pansy assed darts challenge. Over 130,000 ppl had gone to assen alone to watch the race, more than travelled to see england play in euro 2002. Go figure! :roll:

No, I drink beer, not budweiser, pork rinds are the food of the devil, my undershirt was a wife-beater with sleaves, and I have somebody to do my scratching for me.

Actually I prefer to watch porn and eat cheetos!
