BALTIMORE, Nov. 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: SBGI - News) announced today that as a result of ambiguities in the Federal Communications Commission indecency rules, it will not be airing the movie "Saving Private Ryan" on any of its stations which carry programming from the ABC television network. Sinclair deeply regrets not being able to broadcast this highly acclaimed motion picture this evening.

What pisses me off is that the FCC refuses to provide guidelines to the broadcasters. Also fail to understand why bleeping out the F-Word would ruin the movie.

Well Sinclair is the ultra conservative corporation that tried to air the swift boat "documentary" last month in swing states, so I can only guess that this is more of a political move.

It was all about celiberity wax jobs. I believe it was called "Saving Meg Ryan's privates".
