at least she was wearning a helmet, of course her arms are probably hamburger.

I hope her family finds that guy and beats the shit out of him.

Jeez, I can't believe this guy could be that stupid...but then they say, if you make something idiot proof the world will make a better idiot. There really aren't any limits here. Too bad SHE had to pay for HIS mistake.

I recently read about a jacket the japanese have developed for motorcycle riders that instantly inflates when you leave the bike. Which could be cool for a number of reasons, even if you don't ride a bike.

There have been a few attempts to put airbags on bikes and/or riders.

The jacket is here (well... one of them at least).

I've also seen crash test footage of airbags on bikes. They only work in a head on... but it keeps you from getting tossed over whatever you hit and instead bounces your ass backwards (which is actally less likely to break your neck).
