Question primarily for the girls...
My wife mentioned, after returning from some errands, that she has observed that women seem to be rude to her while she is pregnant (all 3 times) vs. guys being very polite (opening doors, etc.).
I know 1 or 2 of you out there have kids of your own - have you observed this yourselves? Those among you who have never been preggers, under the seal of anonymity, do you find pregnant women annoying and if so why?
In this case, we guys win points for once! We got a clue that we should be polite to women in general and pregnant ones especially.
Thanks!

Men occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of them pick themselves up and hurry off as if nothing ever happened.

Ugh, *YES* I HATE the term "preggers". That and "hubby". Ick.
No one was rude to me when I was pregnant. I have never been rude to a pregnant girl. So I don't really know what that's about...
I had a few strangers try and touch my stomach while I was pregnant. I shifted back & away from them, gave them a dirty look and told them it was extremely rude to invade people's bubbles, pregnant or not. I can't say I really gave a damn about how it made them feel, dispite my general belief in politeness and decency. I didn't like being pregnant. I was cranky.
