And speaking of games from the long, long ago.....

GOG has UT GOTY for a whopping $2.49

https://www.gog.com/game/unreal_tournament_goty

It runs on Windows 10 and is worth every single penny (all 249 of them)!!!

We can play together on a virtual LAN via Hamachi (up to 5 of us at a time).

Rewind back to 1999.... do it! :)

Thanks for the fun tonight! What a game. Still holds up 21 years later.

The only real difference from 21 years ago and now is I used to hold my own... now I just suck.

For anyone not running Windows 10, I may or may not know where you can get an ISO that won't run on M$'s latest resource pig (but will on earlier versions) for free.

Wow, that is a long time ago.
I sucked back then, probably still do. :)
I could get a kill here and there, but mostly I was a bullet sponge. Kept the attention off others so they could get the flag.

I never liked that game haha

I think the only time I ever played it was at Tone's lan parties

You were brutal at it, as I recall.

There were always a few people who dominated each match. Cesar (because he was a badass at gaming), Josh (more of the same), and Dan Greigo, the sniper king.

I just sucked.

I played the hell out of Half Life and it's mods. Team Fortress, Day of Defeat, and oh so much Counter-Strike.

That's what honed my skills. Back at the time, Half-Life ran flawless on my system and Unreal Tournament didn't (out of the box at least).

If i can get in on that ISO, I will install it and give you all a bullet sponge

I'm nothing but a bullet sponge myself now.

I guess the fact that I'm too impaired to drive a car legally (it's an instant DUI if caught) might have something to do with it.

See also: why I now suck at any game requiring driving skills.

My file is an NRG, not an ISO. Are you able to deal with that or do I need to convert it first?

I'll put it online again once I know you can download it immediately. My host takes a dim view of this kind of thing and I'd like to to not be there for long :)

Totally understood

Work is all consuming these days. I don't really have much energy to do much after I get home. Ill try and cross paths with you soon. I should probably get a few minutes in and get my legs before you guys destroy me in a multiplayer :bash:

Just let me know when works best for you via the Pixelthugs channel.

We should totally form a stupid clan. May I suggest [PXLTGS]? :D
