Two Rats

Post by Painted » Thu Jun 02, 2005 7:25 am

OK...so I went to take my brother out to get some crickets and a baby rat. I was looking at the rats...and decided...what the hell, I will get two. So I bought to females. Well my brother didn't want to feed the baby rat to his snake...so he put the snake up at Minnehaha Park (5 blocks from our house) and we ended up feeding the baby rat. I don't know if it will live because the guy at the store said that it is unlikely...but he is feeding it milk with the rinsing seringe that I got for my wisdom teeth. I will post pictures later. I still haven't thought of any names.

Actually they're named after my herritage. Amara (German) which means immortal and Tralee (Irish) it's a name of a city in Ireland. The black and white one is Tralee.

I think Bio has made some excellent suggestions. Pinky and the Brain fit perfectly. Pinky.......girls wear pink. And the Brain...well we know that the women are the ones that do all the thinking around here.... So these would make excellent names for girls.

I thought real hard about how I was going to get Bio's head on the Hulk's body! My wife had to call the fire department...

...oh, no.

Yes that is a very true statement about the names fitting. But given that the names belonged to two males in a cartoon would give the impression that they were male rats.

Given their origins, I would call them "Lunch" and "Dinner."
