I drove the Mach I around for a while. . .had a BLAST! The poor girl though, she's looking tired. Clear coat is peeling off badly, paint is starting to chip away in places. The rear bumper is starting to rust over the chrome pretty bad. 15 years outdoors will do that to you. I gotta build that barn next.Pigman wrote: Great bunch of people. I hope to get the RR out today, did you notice my shirt in the pics? a REAL 72 Roadrunner shirt... don't see those everday (except on EBAY)!
Yes, I -did- see the t-shirt, and I'm a bit envious.

I bet you could get a shirt with your car on it. I just did a EBAY search for 72 Plymouth and tons of stuff came up of course... I found 2 shirts with my bird on it.
Item nr 7967953744 is yet a different one.

I have kept my bird in the garage today... I really wanted to "get it out" hehh hehh .. but I hate the clean up time it takes to get it back into somewhat show condition.

Buy in haste / repent at lesiure ... most of us had car-idius .. you know .. ANY car has to be better than NO car.. BUTT .. not much is worse than a car that sucks your paychecks dry and is STILL broke. I have to agree with your Mom on this one.. You will get the perfect car .... it's fate!Painted wrote:I have a license...but no car...I am on the hunt...but my mom is being so picky and saying...be patient...well when I keep bumming rides from everyone and riding my bike I get very impatient.
