Topics...

Post by canofcoke » Thu Jan 27, 2005 5:44 pm

It seems all the topics here are, uhh, boring. From the few posts I've given, it's seems people here are fun to talk with but there seems to be nothing to talk about. Maybe it's because everyone here is "older," hmmm.....

Well... we are all older (for the most part). Also, 90% of us work in the tech industry (I'm a Sr. Applications Engineer, Rocketdork works with hardware, Eddie tests software, IronPants is a database junkie). A lot of our posts are kinda techie.

Feel free to post on any subject you like and well follow along (or not.. that happens too... don't take it personally if it does).

Are there any kids on this site, to your knowledge, besides those in Spokane?

We don't have any that are currently active (though we've had many in the past). We're kinda boring at times :-)

Unless, of course, we're posting pics of our butts.

Good times there.

So it sounds like you need to create some topics of your own...:)

Yeah, basically, Bio has a good setup where we can talk about most anything, and then there's the Barbershop Politics section if you really wanna get the blood pumping.

So, Colaman, what floats yer boat?

Math Finals in 5 minutes. Wish me luck. If any of you could ace it, I'd give you 50 bucks.

I want it known at least one member of this board still regularly engages in debauchery, thank you very much.

Are you kidding? High school math? Forgot that stuff years ago. I figure with my kid I'm good through algebra, then I'm done. I remember a little trig, but not a ton.

Good luck.

Database junkie? That seems a little condescending. I'm a Senior Database Architect (you can tell because I'm all rigid and self important) and Bio's a code monkey

Heh, didn't even realize I had done that. Guess I should read my own posts once in a while eh?

And for the record, debauchery ain't all bad. :)
