Unfortunately, it's very, VERY hard to get a firm number from a reputable source. I've seen as high as 49% foreign parts quoted on some sites (though they don't have anything to back up that claim).

Note: "domestic sources" does not equate American Companies. The electronics, forks, carb, tires, inner tubes, wheels, and shocks are all made by foreign companies. Some of those companies have offices and manufacturing centers in the US, but that does not make them American.95% of the parts content in Harley-Davidson motorcycles is obtained from domestic sources.
